Does the Rug Doctor work on carpet on carpet?
I have some makeup stains on my carpet (varying from foundation to eyeliner to eyeshadow), and they won't come out with regular carpet cleaners. I asked my dad if we could use our Rug Doctor on my carpet, but he said no because my carpet was actually laid down on top of another carpet. Apparently, this will trap the water under the lower carpet and cause mold problems. Is this really true or is it actually safe to use?
