Dusty Wool Hudson Bay blanket: delicate wash and air dry or cleaners?

Please stop there my gran used to take her woolen blankets to the laundrette /cleaners to wash them as she would ruin them the temperature.even tear them . it might cost a few quid more but they will be lovely soft and in shape .
