Lost Dry Cleaning (UK)?

I took a £250 quilt to be cleaned at a ‘specialist’ dry cleaners and they tried to give me someone else’s cheap polyester one back - it looks like they’ve lost mine. I’m still waiting for them to call me back but I’d like to know how best to go about getting a replacement or compensation from them.
