What are the laws when you are given 30 day notice by your landlord?

My roommate which also owns a house I lived in went into my room and threw things in there. When I told her she is not allowed to go in my room she got so upset that she put a note on my door telling me I had 30 days to vacate her property. I left as soon as I found a place which it was a week later. Now my landlord is not only not giving me my deposit back but she is charging the three weeks that I did not live. She is also charging me for the carpet cleaning, which it was not necessary since the place was immaculate and I did not even use shoes in there. I don’t have OCD, but I am very clean. She is a very unstable person and she made several racist remarks. I am very frustrated with this whole situation. Please, any help or advice will help.
