What's a good vacuum that picks up hair?

I need a good vacuum cleaner that can pick up pet hair and My hair I have long thick hair and with the chemo its falling out and getting stuck in my carpets (gross!) and with all my hair falling out it broke the vacuum that we have! Any suggestions and please no telling me to cut it.... I'm just not ready for that I'm not ready to except defeat.
