Space heater on frozen pipes?

Hi so I have this space heater pointing to my pipes under my sink because it so cold! (6degrees!!) I have my water running a slight bit too. I was wondering is it safe to keep the heater like a few feet back overnight to help prevent it from freezing? The thing that really makes me nervous is he chemical cleaners under there in the path of heat..is it risky? I'm a very paranoid person so .... Thank u!:))
