I dropped my Nikon S8100 once and it won't turn on. Help?

I dropped it on a carpet floor (not that hard) from about 6 feet high and now when I try to turn it on, it says "Lens Error". Does anyone have any help? Besides "use a wristband", yes, I normally do, but as I was handing it to someone, it dropped. So, what do I do?
