Can I give away dogs if the owner is not responding to me?
The only thing you can really do right now is to take them to the shelter. If the owner isn't responding, she probably doesn't want her dogs anymore.

I had a friend who went to Hampden-Sydney and I went to Ohio State. It is an excellent school. My friend had a lot of fun there. The only thing I would be weary of is if you want to go into sciences, Hampden-Syndey is a liberal arts college. This means their research resources are not as good as you would find at OSU, BC or Marshall. I would definitely do a college visit to see if it is right for you!

If you're only looking to play with 4 players or so, stick with building one that's an octagonal shape. Do a search for "how to build a poker table" on Google. If that pokertablebuilder site doesn't show you how to add cup holders, there are TONS of other sites that will. I've looked into this before because I almost went and built my own.

Hmm.... Interesting. Well, I would contact Apple first, and ask them about the phone repair/replacement. If they say "no", then I think I may have an idea. When my Nintendo DS Lite's LCD screen got all scratched up (Top and touch, somehow), I had some of this disc repair stuff from GameStop. It costs around $7.99 for a bottle of the stuff, and I have to say, I'm impressed. It works awesomely on my video games, CD's, DVD's, and my Nintendo DS screens. As long as the scratch on your screen isn't to big, it should work. Just be careful, 'cause this is just my theory. This may or may not work on your screen, and I'm claiming no responsibility if you damage your phone. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

Weve been living together as students since august. Most of the furnature in the house belongs to her besides my bedroom and some kitchen stuff. In 6 months im the only one who's ever emptied the kitchen garbage and taken it out. im the only one who cleans the bathroom and removes my own hair from the shower drain. im the only one who's ever bothered to vacuum or use cleaners. we have a rule that we do our own dishes because there is no dishwasher. she leaves them sit til the sink is completely full while i do mine immediately after i use them. every day she leaves a dirty cutting board on the counter and crumbs all over the place and i always have to clean it up because it disgusts me. i really don't konw what i can do. i've tried just not cleaning up after her but i cant stand the messiness. i have never considered myself to be a 'neat' or 'clean' person but this is just silly. what would be a non confrontational way of making her start to do her end of the chores

O.K. I have never ever complained to her that she isn't doing enough! I do 80% of the cooking and clean up after myself everytime. i regularly do the school run and cleaning the outside of the windows and decorating will ALWAYS be my job! lol ! I took a nights regular job to support us without her having to work her 2 days a week and stay at home to enjoy being a mother and we both think its really important for both my sons that their mother brings them up but all i hear is complaints about how its easy for me because i just have to "go to work" and its starting to wear a little thin with me! last time i looked she isn't hand scrubbing and beating our clothes over rocks in the river? you fill up a machine add detergent,softner and push a button, i don't hear the machine complaining? i've pushed a few vacuum cleaners around in my time push the button again and it takes me 20mins top to bottom. Surface polishing a minimalistic house isn't really difficult isn't it (we don't have brass to buff LOL)?! Contrary to popular belief i DON'T just GO to work,for 7.5 hours i have to be PRODUCTIVE.7.5 hours worth of work every day at home i'm sure would make it a palace ! . . . .SO. . . . . why am i being told when i get up from my nightshift that i have to sort that mess out under the stairs,go get groceries and "help out" with the cleaning and iron my own clothes because she hasn't GOT ENOUGH TIME in her busy day!!?? Is it too much to ask that when i do have time off on the weekend and not working overtime that i can be a DAD and a HUSBAND and spend some quality family time ? Or am i asking too much? Is it really that hard to manage your time being a housewife with all these electronic timesaving appliances??

House training my 3 month old Lab puppy...HELP!?

Her food is not down all day only at breakfast & dinner time. Leopard Gecko can't open both eyes. !!!HELP!!!?
I have a leopard gecko that has been one years old for around 2 weeks now and shed three days ago. Since then she can only open her eyes for a few seconds and mostly has them closed. We have tried socking her is warm water for 15 minutes, the saline (not sure how its spelled) water and very gently using a q-tip and misting her but none of those have worked. The humidity is good, the cage is a good size, we use carpet, no heating rock, a good light, heating pad on the bottom and we calcium powder on her worms. She only had worms for a while now, I think the last time she had crickets was November. She seems to have something that looks like a little white bump under both her eyes. She has not eaten since this started. She seems to be more scared than before and sometimes twitches her head a little when she tries to like her eyes. Her eyes don't open anymore when she licks them. She has opened her eyes only a few times and doen't leave it open for more than a second. We can't go to the vet as my dad refuses to go to one. Please help, I have searched around but nothing is working.

Ok so I live in am apartment complex and my pipes bursted (I think) on Super Bolw Sunday. Well needless to say my carpets got wet. They said that after the plumber had fixed the problem that carpet cleaners would come clean the whlole buildings carpet (like36 apartments). So they never came I called day after day after day. I called them every hour on the hour and STILL nothing. I have tried touse a normal vaccuum but didn't work. Home depot or Lowes sells Epoxy garage floor kits. It's a 2 part mix that is pretty thick. Once mixed you don't have a lot of work time so you squeegee it out real thin and then go over it with a dry roller to spread it evenly. It has some fumes so you want to ventilate the area. The next day you will basically have a plastic coating on the floor that will last forever and will clean up easy.

How do i fix tracking problems with wobbly like video?
I've tried everything to make this problem go away without disassembling the vcr itself which I'm afraid to do so because it's a DVD/VCR combo. I got it for Christmas and it worked fine out of the box then my stupid butt put in a old VHS tape that was recordings of tv back in 1999. I left it on while i went and played with my new toys and then the problem began. I thought it was the heads so I bought a dry head cleaner the wet head cleaners I'm very afraid of doing thinking it will only screw it up more and the problem isn't just one tape it's all of them. I'd really love to have this problem resolved because some of the VHS tapes mean a lot to me. If someone would help me solve this issue I would be much obliged thank you.

My vehicles run fine on ethanol. However, you are correct that ethanol is not going to save the environment. For one thing, ethanol is mainly made from corn. More ethanol, higher corn prices. Irritating for us, catastrophic for Mexicans. Besides, if we turned all our corn into ethanol, we still couldnt satisfy the appetite for gas. Ethanol is not going to fix the problem.

Territorial Angel Fish Leading to Fin Rot, Experienced Fish Keepers Only Please.?
Hey guys, hoping someone can help. I have a 60 gallon community tank. Which contains 6 angels, 1 of them being small, a rainbow fish and a few other bottom cleaners. They would get along great. I have recently seen a problem with the largest to angel fish in there, both are males. They are nipping at each other, each time in the same area of the tank, so I guess its territorial. Both of them, no other fish, just them have developed fin rot. I'm treating with mela fix, but if they keep doing this it will never go away. I just started planting and currently have wisteria, SAGITTARIA SUBULATA in the back, as a background plant, and dwarf SAGITTARIA SUBULATA in the front. They are growing pretty well right now, but not enough for fish to hide in yet. These two fish are my favorite and really are the center piece to the tank. The tank is bow front, so I don't see how a divider can work. It would really hurt to have to re home one of these, is there anything I can do? I have been spending money like crazy on this tank this month and am broke. I will have to refer to my parents, so are there any restrictively cheap suggestions? I'm only 14 by the way. My Tocky alarm clock wont play the alarm?

My son who was born Dec 2008, is ALWAYS eating Hair and string/yarn( blankets fuzz). The first time i noticed it it was in his "diaper". never really thought anything of it, untill recently i have noticed that he does it all the time i have to actually watch him every second because he will eat the fuzz of his diaper, the carpet even the dogs hair, i found out what PICA is online and thought that maybe this is what he had, I am not sure if thats something i should call his DR about,, What do you think? Do you think I am bipolar?
For a long time I have been very depressed. But I always thought that I didn't HAVE depression because sometimes I get so hyper and happy that I feel like maybe that's just how I am. But sometimes I get so sad, I cry for hours, having hiccuping after effects even though I've already stopped crying a long time ago. I have been getting very suicidal lately...and I don't know why. Each day feels like it gets worse even nothing is changing in my life. I'm not emo or goth or anything, I'm just a normal teenage girl who goes to school everyday...But I don't feel normal. People tell me that I get irritated to easily...And I know I do...Sometimes I'd be very grumpy and then the next second I'm so giggly even though nothing has really changed to make me happy...Sometimes I feel so much hatred to everyone else that I just want to be left alone. And then sometimes I want to talk to everyone and I would get sooo talkative, trying to find anything to comment people on or trying to start a conversation out of one random question. I get so tired a lot and lately I've been having a lot more back pain then usual but like I said, nothing in my life has changed. I used to be a straight A student but since last year, my grades just started going downhill..I dunno. Sometimes I think it's just me. But I have tried to get help at school but when the teacher talked to me all I could say was that my dad lost his job...I couldn't even say that I felt depressed because I'm so shy towards people...And so I guess she thought I was just feeling sad that my dad lost his job and that I wasn't really depressed. I felt so DUMMB! But I do think I'm depressed. I've asked my friends if they ever feel the way I do and they say they sometimes do but they say they would never try to attempt to kill themselves...I have tried to give clues to people on facebook...but ppl would just comment saying things like: "EMOO" or whatever. So I stopped. I feel so...lonely sometimes...Sometimes I think about doing crazy things like crash into another car when I'm driving or to run away or to jump out of a car while it's still moving. When I was younger, I thought about killing myself by drinking bathroom cleaners...But I never had the guts to do so. I have cut myself several times over the years...but I get scared people might see it and call me emo. And just When the time I thought about OD on pills, my boyfriend made me change my mind. I regret it. I mean..I have gone through some bad times... My brother and my sister tried to kill me once. My brother got mad at me and then I ran to my room and he chased after me with a kitchen knife. As I tried to block my door (because I had no lock) he tried to slide the knife under the door where my feet was..so I climbed the wall (there was two walls by my door) so that he couldn't get me. Then one time my sister got very mad at me and hid a knife behind her back. As I was walking out of my room I saw her and asked her what she had behind her. I went to look and It was a knife...So I grabbed it quickly and yelled at her. I never told my parents this though. Then one time my other sister got so mad at me she beat me up until my head bled...I cried so hard that I biked away from home for the whole day then I came back later at night. And then when I was younger.......I was....raped by my ex-boyfriend. But...I don't really want to report it. Damages from ozone cleaning after fire?
I live in a townhouse and the neighbors home caught on fire. I have a smell in my home resulting from fire next door. The insurance company has told us that they will use ozone to clean up the smoke smell, but I have concerns if it'll do any long term damages to a furniture, appliances, hardwood floors and carpet. I cleaned out all the wearable garments from the house and we got some money from insurance to buy a few new things, but my main concern is the rest of the house - walls, furniture, TV, etc. etc. etc. Any info would be helpful. Lease breakage due to neighbor harassment?
We signed a one year lease in CT. I have 2 kids (8&2year). We were receiving continuous harassment from our neighbour and he also threatened us by leaving a piece of paper in front of our door sayig that he will inform police or the DCF. There is one piece in particular, after some research, that is fairly valuable and rare. It is over 100 years old, completely hand painted, and trimmed richly in gold on the handles and rim. It has gunk all over it and even inside I can see where someone must have put a plant, with dirt and all. This needs a good, non-damaging, cleaning treatment. I'm not sure how to go about this with the paint and gold. I'm just a little worried some of it might come off with the wrong cleaners & methods.

Why did my friends leopard geckos die?

They go hand and hand. The thing is long as your selfishness doesnot jeopardize anyone else's survival or is a result of ill nature towards someone then it's ok. Selfishness is not meant to be liked but it's a natural response to survival and self preservation. Now why am I talking about selfishness and survival in a marriage debate. The event of divorce has put a lot of mens survival in jeopardy. I was told that because I oppose marriage that I am selfish and that is the opposite of love. Let me say my opposition to marriage has nothing to do with how much I would love whom I'm with. If I see tons of fellow males getting taken to the cleaners in divorce to the point their survival, sanity, and peace of mind come into question it is only out of instinct that I back away from that which is causing men to fall. And only encourage others to do the samething. Also if you can get fulfillment without putting your survival into question why do that which would place yourself in jeopardy or at the mercy of someone else? Self preservation comes before all else. Survival of ones self shouldnot be jeopardized because of a womans emotions turned sour. Just because I don't trust someone enough to put myself in a situation that I can't walk away from doesnot mean I don't love them. It doesn't make sense to die for someone if you love them, or worse die because of them. You can't do anything for them if your dead. And on top of that it's no longer ideal in the 21st century for a man to ensure the survival of a woman. If they are hell bent on equality (which I'm all for) they shouldnot seek to have equal footing with men and then want them to ensure their survival. Now I was also told that there is better chance of survival in the family unit than it is being single. I agree and at the sametime disagree. I agree if things are running smoothly and no one is combative and everyone is honest then yes it could increase a persons chance of survival. But 9/10 in this day and age that willnot happen. If ones house is not a home and the family is dysfunctional and the couple is headed for divorce (which most marriages in this day and time are) it could lower a persons chance of survival. And let me not throw in the other extremes that could happen. Sometime in a marriage your that much closer to being dead or in jail. And that is because conflict is closed proximity and negative energy is contained to a small space. So due to the fact marriage has high potential to jeopardize ones survival is another reason it should be avoided. You don't need marriage to get what you need from a marriage.
Fish Tankmates and new fish?
I have a Golden Sucking Loach (Algae eater), a Red-tailed Botia, a Red-tailed Black Shark and two Firemouth Cichlids. the Sucking loach is the largest of them (he's about 16cm long where as my other fish are around 9-14cm.) and he keeps on chasing the other fish, not so ofton now though since the others have grown a bit. Anyways I'm getting a Channa Orientalis (Ceylon Snakehead) since I've ordered it from a local fish store, I've been waiting for it for about three months! (I'm from England so it's legal up there.) The Women said that they haven't found one yet so they may hybernate or something. Would the Snakehead be okay with my fish? How big do they grow? (my tank is 100 gallons.) The thing is I brought one from a fish store and.. I had it for about a day and then next morning it wasn't in the tank! I lifted some clothes off my floor and it was litrally underneath them on the floor! (it wasn't the same store I ordered my new one from.) It was covered in fluff, probably due to my carpet. we quickly put it back in the tank and after a while it started swimming around again but then it stopped moving again and it died. We didn't know it was an escape artist so we've put sellotape to cover a small hole what i've got on my tank. Oh and almost as soon as we got it it went up onto the pump. I don't why it did this but my Dad reckons it's because it needs air every once in a while in other words it needs both water and air to help it to survive like frogs. Please help.

Potty training a 6 month old chihuahua?
I was given a 6 month old chihuahua and the previous owner allowed the dog to pee on potty pads instead of teaching it to go outside.So now I am trying to re-teach the her but am getting very frustrated.I will take her out with my other dog Bootsy so she can see her go potty outside.We will walk around for 15-20 mins(on a leash) and nothing will happen.Then no more than 10-15 mins.after we get back inside she will go potty on the carpet.I have no clue how to go about re-training her...HELP!!..does anyone have any good ideas??..Thank you.

The U.S. Constitution has separation of church and state, and it should also have separation of family and state. Think about this fellas, why do you need a license to affirm your commitment to each other. Ya'll were doing just fine without it. And marriage doesnot stop a person from cheating. All this men can't be trusted, well women can't be trusted either. But women have the most to gain in a divorce. So who is going to cheat and feel like they can get away with it. And prenumps mean nothing because they are easy to override and they come with an expiration date. And in divorce you could end up owing not just child support but spousal support. Paying a woman directly while she spends it on another guy and sleeps with him. And during marriage why would you want someone nagging you. i have this problem that iv had for over 4 years now im 14 and about four years ago i started having theses weird "panic" attacks what my mom called them i would wake up in the middle of the night and see everything really small and then this voice in my head would tell me i have to collect these things else it would kill me.. iv had allot of accidents with this the major one where when i ran out into the street and almost got ran over then again when i almost rode my bike into a rushing river.. i am awake for this but im not thinking.. i remember a few details.. and one of the most recent ones was when i had a Cat.. i woke up and i stood right in front of my dad crying.. i took a piece of carpet of my cats cat stand and i held it up to my dad and told him it was going to kill me.. that's all i remember.. i woke up the next day Knowing that happened but i didn't remember the string thing.. i felt as though i imagined it... but it hasn't happened very often it has changed... like about a week ago i as laying in my bed in the dark and i heard this voice telling me im worthless and useless and saying i should die... i felt as though no one loved me and i could stop crying... my friends suggest i have skitzo but i don't know my parents just put them behind me.. i really want to know whats wrong with me.. sorry if my spelling isn't that good help me and thanks :)

My son sprayed the "Foaming class cleaner (with ammonia)" in his face, I'm not sure how much got into his eyes but when I tried to flush them he shut his eyes so I couldn't get water in them. I tried wiping my furniture with cleaners, vaccuming and washing my floor, washed my bedding and curtains, etc. Yet I turn around and all I can see is dust in the air extremely bad and the things I JUSTTT wiped down are loooooooooaded with dust after I just cleaned them like 5 mins ago. I come home from school or work and it's just ridiculoussss. Even my bed is covered in it. I also left my window open for like 2 hours to see if it'd help but it didn't. What should I do?!

When she starts dragging her butt on the ground I get a baby wipe and clean her butt for her. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it. It could also be that he needs his anal glands expressed. this sounds like a typical allergic reaction. unfortunately, it may be to house hold dust. talk to your vet about skin testing your pup... the test takes a while, but when done, you will know what he is allergic to, and what he may develop allergies to in the future. fyi a lot of skin issues like these are allergies to carpet glues used in making them... the treatments are often antihistamines, cortizone and in extreme cases, steroids

I have a white tufted down comforter which, tragically, now bears a large lilac purple metallic nail polish stain. The stain has been there for a few years. Is there anyway I can remove it myself without causing further damage to the material or, perhaps, can a professional cleaners fix it?

I was clean for five years and things really went down hill for me these past couple months and I did the biggest mistake and started using after all that clean time. Now I have been struggling to get clean again but I want it more than anything. I was able to stay clean a little over a week till some so called friend that knew i was trying to stay clean called and told me they had a bunch of percs they wanted to get rid of...and that right there did it for me. I used 6 perc 30's on sat and have the test wed. i was clean before that so it's not like i was using the past week but still. and they use those really cheap 5 panel stick dip tests or whatever u call them so i think with a cleanser and drinking a lot of water i should be fine. plus 'm gonna buy a test to do myself to check before i take it. but if anyone has any suggestions on cleansers please help!!

Help with dog potty training?
my dog is not potty trained no matter what we do. He is a 3 years old shitzu, we adopted him when he was 1 1/2 years old from a shelter. We take him out at least 3 times a day, he pees and poop outside but if we leave him in the house alone he peeps and poops anywhere. We've tried crating him in one of those wire crates, he still goes in there. We adjusted the size of the crate so he wont have much room to move around but he still goes in there. We have him in a small travel crate for when we go out for a couple of hours and he doesn't go there but when my husband start work and he will be home for at least 8hrs i can't leave him in that small space for that long. We tried punishing him but he just gets scared of us to the point that if we raise our voice at him he pees on himself. He doesn't even indicate when he has to go which makes it even harder. Don't want to let him go because of my kids but my husband and i are tired of him especially sense we have a house being built and its 95% carpet. Any idea on what to do would be very help full.

Ok so I live in am apartment complex and my pipes bursted (I think) on Super Bolw Sunday. Well needless to say my carpets got wet. They said that after the plumber had fixed the problem that carpet cleaners would come clean the whlole buildings carpet (like36 apartments). So they never came I called day after day after day. I called them every hour on the hour and STILL nothing. I have tried touse a normal vaccuum but didn't work. I tried cleaning it with a cleaners brush and hot water, soap, some bleach, fabulose and pet oder cleaner... nothing. Idk what to do. The office doen't hepl me, Im clueless as what to do and I cantreally affored alot. I have an infant and a toddler. This is so NOT ok. What can I clean this with myself?

Space heater on frozen pipes?
Hi so I have this space heater pointing to my pipes under my sink because it so cold! (6degrees!!) I have my water running a slight bit too. I was wondering is it safe to keep the heater like a few feet back overnight to help prevent it from freezing? Woolite with oxy clean was thr best cleaning for the dogs as long as you use it correctly but do not leave it out for them to get into then i couold be harmful....
